When I started tapping into the inspired life I met my Reiki Master Teacher, Cyhndi. One of the tried, true, and powerful tools she recommended was journaling. A journal is a place to be completely unguarded with yourself. To let down your barriers and truly explore what’s happening within you and your life. You can start with a question, the biggest energy drain in your life, ways to bring your heart’s desire to you, or anything you like. It’s your space and yours alone.
There are no rules about how to journal. You can start with a scrap of paper or a note in your phone. As the card above suggests, it doesn’t have to be words; you can draw. You can dictate into your email. You can decorate it with stickers. Really, anything goes, because the point of the process is to allow yourself to go deep in the most comfortable and empowered ways you can.
Give yourself permission to let the words and pictures flow. Give yourself permission to dream big. Give yourself permission to be real, honest, and truthful. Give yourself permission to let it be easy. It’s that easy. Let it be that easy.
Date the entry, because walking down that journal memory lane is a blast. I have sixteen years of them to look back on and oh, my, are they entertaining and insightful.
