Wisdom Wednesday 13 — Higher Power
How can we live an inspired life this week?*

When I drew this card, I thought that was what we were doing. Connecting with our higher powers. Then I realized that the card is directing readers to make their own connection with their higher power. The cards are happy to interpret, but checking in for personal messages is invaluable, especially when the request is so obvious.
You know the expression, “What you get out of it is what you put into it?” My experience is that this is true when it comes to building your relationship with your higher power.
As a trained intuitive, I still follow a few channels, numerologists, and astrologers to make sense of the huge influxes of energy we’ve been getting and the shifting that comes with them. We are a conscious co-creative collective, here to help one another. Daily meditation is how I receive personal messages and messages for my clients.
There are a myriad of ways to receive direct divine guidance. However you do it is going to be right for you. Experiment. Believe in your ability to receive divine guidance. Believe that it will come in forms that are easy for you to understand.
It can be that easy. Allow it to be that easy.
Note that divine guidance is gentle, soft, subtle, and loving. If you connect and you aren’t feeling peaceful, disconnect and clear your energy and the energy of your space before trying again. Popular ways to clear are through burning incense or sage. Sound clearing is a good choice if smoke is not an option. This is the Reiki healing music video I use:

Meditation and automatic writing are two popular ways to receive divine guidance. Another is to ask a question. Just one. Choose the most important one. Now look for signs in your life until you get an answer. It may take a while or it may come quick. All you need to do at this point is open to receive. If you have an oracle or tarot deck, it’s the perfect time to do a reading for yourself. Keeping a dated reading journal is an excellent way to look back on where you were in life. I highly recommend it.

*This card was drawn from the Inspirate With Gina deck written by me, Gina Briganti. It’s where I go to seek the wisdom of our higher power, guides, and ancestors. They blazed a trail and want to see us live our most inspired life. The cards are an easy space for them to communicate
